Preowned test equipment at substantial savings over new, now available from Silicon Valley Test & Measurement with the confidence of an OEM Calibration Certificate
Through arrangement with various test equipment manufacturers having offices in in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley Test and Measurement is pleased to offer a new program to deliver our line of tested used instruments with a manufacturer’s calibration certificate. This program, which coordinates with our 90-day warranty on designated preowned equipment, offers customers the opportunity to buy premium preowned equipment, at a substantial discount to new prices, but with complete confidence that the equipment they are purchasing meets the original manufacturer’s performance specifications. Key features of the program are outlined below:
- Upon customer request at the time of purchase, SVTM will ship or deliver equipment purchased from SVTM directly to the local offices of Keysight, Tektronix, Rohde & Schwarz or others as appropriate for calibration prior to shipment to the customer.
- Should an instrument fail calibration after adjustment and require repair, Silicon Valley Test & Measurement will either repair the equipment or have the manufacturer do so at our expense. If in the sole judgement of SVTM the equipment cannot be repaired at reasonable cost, SVTM will fully refund the customer’s purchase price including calibration and shipping costs paid by the customer. Warranty does not cover connectors or accessories and applies to calibrations based on simple pass/fail decision rules only.
- The pass through cost of the supplied calibration along with a service fee of $50 will be charged to the customer at the time of equipment purchase. The cost of calibration as well as the time required varies with different equipment models and manufacturers. Please inquire as to exact cost and delivery schedule prior to equipment purchase. Estimates of delivery time are not guaranteed.
